    Hi G00r00,

what is the best way to update from 1.11 to the current 1.12a14?
Do we need to go though all the 1.12 alfa's or can we jump from one of them
    to the current version?

There are a few steps to move from 1.11 to 1.12 A14

The upgrade.txt file details them. The move from A4 up to A14 requires very
few changes other than adding the odd new or revised file.

You will also need to look at some tweaks and changes to the mutil.ini stanzas

The upgrade.txt explains what changed in each Alpha, but its very possible to go from 1.11 directly to the latest alpha. Here is a list of what to do
based on looking at the upgrade.txt (I have not tested this).

!! MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP ITS VERY EASY FOR SOMETHING TO GO WRONG. :)

    - Install A14 to a directory
    - Copy protocol.dat from A14 into your data directory
    - Delete CFGROOT.AN1 from your data directory
    - Copy CFGROOT1.ANS from A14 data directory to your data directory
    - Copy archive_view.ans and archive_view.ini from A14 text directory to the
text directory for each theme you use.
    - Replace the following prompts in each theme's prompt file with the new A14
    prompts: 065, 145, 315
    - Copy UPDATE.EXE into your root Mystic directory and run it once
    - Copy over all new .EXE files (do not forget MIDE/MPLC.exe in scripts)
    - Run MUTIL's file base packer one time to generate file listing indexes
    - Recompile all MPL progrtams (mplc -all in scripts)
    - Open -CFG and validate your Upload Base (if used) is pointing to the
correct file base ID, as the number may have changed

Let me know how it goes.

..also check that if you have a dupe base defined that the .ini records for
it point to the new base ID. Check also that you have made this base a
    'Local' type.

I haven't even got that far yet. RL has been getting in the way.

Lets hope I can get it done in the next fews weeks. #0(
