    He/she/it recently changed handles and posted the same garbage message onto another network.

    To be honest, I don't think they even changed aliases. They posted with
    the exact same alias on Dovenet multiple times already.

    I've IP banned them, as well as banned the name they've been using.
    Hopefully they're too dumb to get around it. :)

    the exact same alias on Dovenet multiple times already.

    I think they did it from another board. I meant to take note of the new
    alias so I could add it to my filters but forgot.

    That may depened on where they are posting from. On Synchronet systems,
    and others with WWW interfaces, they may not be aware that they are posting
    to an "FTN." They just treat it like any other web forum.

    Others find their way in via gated newsgroups.

    never understood that kind of spam. they never own the sites they link, and it's usually gibberish...

    He may have had a bot that was used to 3.19 and then it hit some different prompt in 3.20. Either way, that does make sense that he got stuck
    somewhere and started responding.
