Checked the packet and it seemed 'experimental' from another Agoranet node... removed the packet, ran fidopoll killbusy all again and success..

Here's a shot in the dark.. multi networks on Cnet/3 for Amiga, now to sort
    out the rest :D

    So.. this is a test

So Night Stalker .. for info... it seems like something may be amiss in the packet creation, and happy to filebox this one to you if it helps also.

Wow.. Why would you be getting that error? I don't connect to you for agoranet so that stands to reason the problem is tossing from your host
to you since it wasn't returned ... seems that anyone running Synchronet is going to have problems tossing mail from ppl running Amiga BBS software. Had this problem before when I was using Synchronet to test
    bad packets from another host.

Synchronet isn't tossing anything to downlinks on Agoranet, and hasn't for quite some time. HPT is the mail tosser here so if your packets are bad, they may actually be malformed.

i'm fairly certain all our softwares are vulnerable to malformed packets, buffer overflows, etc, and even worse for the guys running ooooold software ;) i'm just glad it's mostly old sysops here who wouldn't really want to crash other boards, because what would be left then =)
