    :)

Al, slightly OT (though still on the topic of "testing"), did you receive
the netmail that I sent you via Fidonet? I took your advice regarding MBSE setup, but still no luck getting mbindex to pull the URLs out of the nodelist for mbcico to use. Will take this issue to the MBSE echo soon, though it's not really hindering me in any way (binkd works like a charm), it's just bugging me that I haven't been able to get it working.

    Cheers,

No. Did you crash it or route it? You can poll me directly if you like, or
do any testing you need to my node. Binkp and telnet is at trmb.ca. I'd have the rest online too but my current ISP is a port blocker so I can't for the time being. Come to think of it telnet and binkp seem to do all I really need so maybe that's good enough.

I think the MBSE echo would be a good choice. There are some very
knowledgable (MBSE and otherwise) people there. They helped me out a lot when
    I ran MBSE.

I will keep an eye out and post any ideas I can think of.

I should have mentioned the BBS discussion area here on agoranet. There is another node here (at least) that runs MBSE. My be be able to get help here too.. :)

I routed it; at least, I thought I did. It's possible (probable?) that I don't understand netmail routing, don't have it set up properly, and that routing is yet another area of FTN that I waded into without fully understanding. That's kind of my style :P More knowledge gaps to fill in ;)

Mine to! When I was first setting up Mystic I sent myself a test message in a local area by a qwk packet. I uploaded the packet but never saw it in the
local area so I concluded the test a failure. I was on pharcyde the other day and there was that message in one of the echoes! DOH!

Seems to me routing netmail is a 50/50 proposition. You should just send that netmail to your local hub and away it goes as long as there are no broken links. Links can and will break though.

One day at a time.. :) You could probably route netmail to this address. If I read the path right there is just pharcyde between us.

For Agoranet, yes.. that's correct. You just route traffic for 46:* to me, and my system will send it off to the proper destination.

With that said, there was *nothing* in my netmail folder destined for either one of you. So either the netmail was created incorrectly and never made it here, or my system has already sent it off to it's destination.

You can also setup direct links to each other if you care to which will override any routing statements, but I would recommend leaving the route statement to me for any systems you don't have a direct link to. At least that's how it is at this point.

    Nick

When I setup agoranet that's just what I did but have never tried it. I'm

Check the TCP/IP flags listed in MBSETUP 1.14.4. The nodelist compiler will only include the URLs for protocols that you indicate support for here. Mine is set to:

    IBN,XX,ITN:60177,IFC

which enables all the capabilities of mbcico.

Hey Jesse, I found myself tinkering with MBSE again and trying to poll my
hubs I was getting "no method found" errors. I puzzled with that for a while and I set mbsetup -> 18. Task Manager -> 11. Max TCP to 10 and after that
polls and mail/files seem to go as expected.

Max TCP was set by default to 0 so nothing was moving. I wonder if you have stuff working ok now?

I don't know what a good value for max tcp might be but that's a start.
