Excellent, still needs more testing and setup but that's a start.

I used "CTRLINFOECHO No" in my golded.cfg to remove the tear and origin.

I thought I had it but I just posted in fidotest and there were 9 nodes listed in the seen bys including 1/161.

I'm going to shutdown binkd for a minute or two and copy this pkt to a safe place and have a look.

Ah yea. Hopefully Bill will read this one as it has his answer. I've disabled the tearline in SBBSecho, and use "CTRLINFOECHO tearline" in my config, which removes the placement of an origin line and let's sbbsecho do that.

When you use othernets with sbbsecho, you should probably use the Zone Blind option, and set it to 4 so it keeps your othernet addresses out of the SEEN-BYs
    out of your Fidonet stuff.

It was something introduced when we started the stoppage of SEEN-BY stripping across zones.

    Nick

Will "ZONE_BLIND 4" in sbbsecho.cfg do that? I just set that so we'll see.

That's what I was thinking about when I set that.

Yes. That's exactly what it's intended purpose is at the moment.

Are you sure you've added "ZONE_BLIND 4" to your sbbsecho.cfg? It doesn't look like you have. This is what I use here:

    NOCIRCULARFWD
    ZONE_BLIND 4
    NOTIFY 1
    SECURE_ECHOMAIL
    KILL_EMPTY
    STORE_SEENBY
    STORE_PATH
    STORE_KLUDGE
    FLO_MAILER
    ELIST_ONLY
    SYSOP_ALIAS Coordinator
    LOG 0FFFFFFF
    LOG_LEVEL 7

Although this will all change when sbbsecho v3 is released. :)

It is now, I think that just happened in a few test posts I did that day.

    ELIST_ONLY

This is the only thing that's different. I still need to get with the wiki on a couple things.. :)

Although this will all change when sbbsecho v3 is released. :)

It'll be interesting to see what's in store.
