    The only thing I don't understand, is why the "note" kludge is still being used. I don't have that in my message header anymore. I replaced it with a "Conf" line, which displays the current conference.

    You mean this one? This kludge has nothing to do with Fidonet these days. I don't think it harms anything out there, but it doesn't help anything either.

    You don't need a conf line either. You're better off just removing it completely. You can display the current conference locally, but you don't need to broadcast it over FTN.

    I agree, those things are pointless and are only going to piss people off in Fido-world lol. Obviously we're a lot less uptight here...

    I think it'd be better time spent to try to get Iniquity to work with MSGID and REPLY, because its lack of support for that completely screws every system in the network out of being able to properly support message threading.
