Me too. Mine was free. :)

We have enough retired/old servers at work that I could fill a few full sized racks with them.

I have not used it for anything yet. They are so long and deep, finding a good
    location is not easy.

They're loud too. Luckily I have a spare room that it's in, with the door closed. :)

Mark, why not hang it from the wall like a picture? A 1U box would even be easy to frame. :)

True. It has lots of loud fans.

My server/network room is a section of the basement under the stairs. It does have a door on it, but I would imagine I would still hear that one buzzing in there unless it was in a rack.

Not a bad idea.. :) Wouldn't have to worry about it taking up all the desk space.

The perfect spot. Out of the way, and the noise won't bother you....

I've got my BBS running on top of a 7 foot tall cupboard in my garage. The sound is isolated, and I'm the only one who can reach it! :)

I have the case on top facing sideways, and the keyboard, monitor and mouse are routed inside of a cupboard with a door - close the door and no one could tell there's a system running in there.
