either way.. PLEASE get back into BBSLink.. your missing out on some excellen K>gaming..
Plus, I dropped the message areas as well, since you said that part of
the network was shut down.
I had to drop it, because needing to use PeerBlock to block out the
bots, and other countries, meant the BBS wouldn't connect to the games server...never mind very few over here were playing the games.
Now, if I could get the CAPTCHA deal with SBBS working (I'm still
having issues understanding the docs), I might reconsider.
Captcha? in Ecwebv4? I think I tested mine a long time ago and had any issues K>but if it is the one with ecebv4 (only one I can think unless its the older K>interface) speak with Echicken on that one.. dunno for sure there.
The CAPTCHA deal was one done I think by Lord Blackfair...but I was
having trouble understanding some of the docs. These program and utility authors need to realize that not all of us are as computer/programming literate as they are.
I lot of it is actually notated in the JS and for me is a bit easier than
going back and froth from docs anyway. I remember seeing a captcha at one tim K>in sncweb, but I think that was being used in the time I took my hiatus from K>bbsing, So I actually went from the first runemaster type versions straight t K>ecweb. Wish I could help you more.
When I ran VADV32, Tim Cornett did a CAPTCHA deal, and I know Lord Blackfair has one for here. I'll try to contact him on his BBS before Sunday, as we're going from a threat of winter to a threat of tornadoes
in less than a week. Such is life in Tornado Alley/Dixie Alley.
Gotta love it.. has went from and windchill of -7 to close to 60 degrees in a K>few days.. next you know there will be BlizzardNados, and no that is not a K>premise for a cheesy movie either..

There were snow-nadoes in part of Saline County, southwest of Little
Rock, before sunrise last Tuesday. I've seen the dust devils during the summer, but I wouldn't want to get into them...you can get blasted by sandspurs!!

Ouch, I would presume that would be worse than walking in front of an active K>sandblaster..
