What do you use to create ANSI or .ANS pictures for the BBS?

What do you use to create ANSI or .ANS pictures for the BBS? I tried to download one called Morbeius Editor and got a warning from my anti virus software that is might have malware in it so I did not install it. I am running Windows 10 for my Synchronet BBS. Thanks

you can use pablodraw. you can also fire up dosbox and use thedraw or aciddraw. there's also syncdraw, elyedit, tundradraw and other ones.

I've used Moebius for a long time now after switching from Pablo Draw. I love it. That being said I see people are using Icy Draw now because it seems to handle animations better.

Yep... back in my Fidonet sysop days, TheDraw was all I used. Of course all the BBSes were DOS-based back then.

When I'm doing ANSI art, I usually use Moebius. It has become my favorite, though sometimes I fall back to PabloDraw for some things.

Yeah, my one complaint would be that it's an Electron app. Discord and Slack are also Electron apps, and those things are always huge.

Yeah there's a save without sauce info save as. I'm not sure why it defaults to save with it, I'm assuming that's something to do with the ANSI art community vs displaying on something like a BBS. Everytime I forget it's a pain and shows up.
