Hello David, I'm Chad KC0RKG. I'm running a Kenwood TM-2550A for 2m, and a icom 706 MKIIG for my multi band rig. Even brought a Washington CB radio with side band capabilities, though it doesn't see much action these days. I have an old Dell Optiplex (from late 90s) running Puppy Linux for a station computer. Most of it's HAM software is Windows software running under WINE.

Stephen Hurd, VE5BSD/K6BSD Lake Forest, CA (USA). TS-940S into a trap dipole on the back of my roof even with the ridgeline. FT-736R with 6m and 220 options, 6m is into a separate dipole, and the rest through a comet triplexer into a homebrew discone.

Living in an HOA, so keeping a close eye on the Congress bill.

Good point! Tim, KB9SNL, Bedford, IN, USA here. Tech since 1998, General since 2005. Took the test when you still had to do code. Rather enjoyed learning the code and passing that test.

I participate in ARDF pretty heavily locally. Local club has a vehicle-based hunt once a month where the "Fox" hides and transmits anywhere in my county on public access property, and the person who finds him in the least amount of miles in a 2 hour timeframe is declared the winner. Usually do those on 2m. Like building my own quad antennas for these hunts.

I also operate voice on 20m from time to time.

    I have a late 80s Kenwood TS-140s for HF + 6m, Icom IC2100H for 2m, Icom IC208H for 2m/70cm, and a couple of not so interesting HTs.
