Now in its final day of operation before the team departs on April 11, the FT4JA[1] DXpedition on Juan de Nova Island now is planning to start dismantling antennas and stations.

"The organization is quite difficult to match with the high tide," the team said in an 0845 UTC update on April 10. "We have only short windows, and wind/waves make things difficult. We had to QRX few hours this afternoon, and we might also take breaks tomorrow to put bigger antennas down and load/unload the Zodiac."

FT4JA is planning to maintain its full station complement until Monday morning, with the exception of 6 meters and a second 10 meter antenna. The team expects to be on 10 meters through 40 meters until 0000 on April 11. Their departure from Juan de Nova is set for the afternoon of April 11.

"We still have good rates on all bands, and we should soon reach the 100 000 QSO mark," the FT4JA update reported. "We will focus on our objectives until the very end."
