• Ftn Feeds For Dovenet

From MIKE POWELL@VERT/CAPCITY2/CAPCITY to THE CURMUDGEON on Sat Jan 29 20:25:00 2011
ummm, ok I apparently was wrong then in this assumption. So , for example, if some other sysop not running Synchronet would like to carry DoveNet, and I can provide him that feed it would be all right with you?

I am not running synchronet (for the most part), and I have carried DoveNet
    for years via QWK.

    Mike

For reasons unknown to us MIKE POWELL said thus to THE CURMUDGEON:

carried DoveNet for years via QWK.

Ummm, yes that is good. Unfortunately my BBS software of choice does not support QWK mail. There are some utilities that would work for that but they either suffer the runtime error ( non correctable by most common patches ) or will not work unless registered. <sigh>

I registered FidoQWK many years ago but of course I lost the registration and the author is no longer around so I just run Synchronet as a bare board and use
a fake net to get it into my Proboard system. Kind of a kludge but it works. :)
