I am trying to set up Exitilus in Synchronet and am running into problems. When the game is accessed, via BBS, it drops into a sepearte DOS window for a local logon mode.

Is there a step, or config, that I am missing? Can someone guide me to correctly set up this game?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

first off there are a few different versions of exitilus. they are made by 2 different people and users like one or the other for various reasons.

if your doorgame is running in local mode that means you didnt set it up properly. it probably isnt seeing the dropfile the bbs is creating for that particular user.

That can be caused by an incorrect configuration - The path to the drop file might not be configured properly. If the path to the drop file isn't configured properly, some doors default to local mode.

I appreciate the insight and was able to get the door up and going, thanks to Phantom Lord at The Outer Limits. The problem was the version of SBBS, that
I was operating. It appears that SBBS v3.13 has some issues with Exitilus v3.20. However, once I upgraded, it all worked out fine..
