Hi. Does anyone know how to create message bases and file bases? I have tried looking in the setup and can't even find the default ones that are created for you which I think are 8.

was trying to get my 15.3 source code to run 15.4 ppes
but cant figure out the 15.4 encryption so I quit fooling with the source code. last thing I did was fix a fido system bug.

so you have to patch the exe because it was date/time stamped.

it is. sort off.
I think there were 2 bugs for that.
one in the fido engine and one in the events systems.
I patched my source code last year.
I call it, PCBoard 20 now.

go to config options/messages
set how many conferences you wish to have.
this tells PCB how big to make the databases.
then go into main board configuation.
setup your main board, this configs will also be used as a template for your other conferences.
then go into conferences and have at it.
there should be as many as you setup in the configs.
like if you are doing fidonet and put 450
you should see like 450 conferences waiting to be setup.
send me a email address that with hold at least 1 meg
and I will send you the pcboard docs as pdf files.
