• Accessing DH on old DOS machine

Does anyone access DH with older machines that run DOS? I have been feeling nostalgic about old computer hardware that I used when I was a kid, and was wondering how difficult it would be to get an old school IBM clone up and running to use DH and run other MUD software.

i'm not sure you realize this, but you are posting in networked msg bases, not the local decker's haven bbs msg bases.

Why an old DOS machine? The emulators like DOSBox work fine and emulate the old sound cards as well using current hardware. Much easier on most machines. The other thing is running an old DOS boot from a thumb drive which works but isn't likely to have sound. Either way you don't need an old machine.
