Does anyone have World of Tears running on their board. I have had very
little problems with most doors, but this one is giving me headaches. I know
I had it running on the board back in the day. But now, as it loads I cannot go further than the first screen. The lightning flashes very very quickly
    and nothing else happens.

I'm thinking it might be a fossil driver issue?

    Thanks

I tried setting it up too in order to see if I had any issues. I'm using DOSEmu under Linux. The first issue I noticed is that it doesn't even bother to clear the screen first. So artifacts of the door menu remain until they are overwritten by the lightning. Pressing the ENTER key continues to the next screen for me. But there were isues like it continuing to ask me for my character's name every time I enter it until I gave up and entered "!" to quit which continued the game. Then after the opening scene where it asks if you want to spare someone's like (it never says who), it immediately exits the game. Then when I reenter the game, it starts over again.

Off the top of my head, maybe we could try checking the Synchronet options for capturing console output. Or maybe increase the amount of EMS memory allocated to the game? The docs say 4 MB RAM is recommended. I don't know how to specifiy the amount of RAM to DOSEmu, though.
