Should I do bluetooth speakers or conventional computer speakers?

I don't know how effective the desktop speakers are, but I notice a lag when watching video on a phone with bluetooth speakers. I'd go for conventional speakers as long as PCs have speaker jacks. ;)

I noticed the delay and the sometime difficulty to get synched if you
have to turn the speaker off. I like the space saving of the bluetooth
    speaker, but thats that.

I always opt for wired, unless there is a reason that's not practical.

IMO there's no good reason to use wireless peripherals for a computer if they aren't going to be moved around a lot. Bluetooth speakers probably use batteries, which need to be replaced periodically. Also, as another has
    said,
bluetooth speakers can introduce a delay.

Also, the fidelity of the sound suffers from the lossy compression used to send the audio over the bluetooth band.

That's true.. I had thought of that, but I suppose that may or may not matter too much to a particular person depending on what they plan to use the computer for.

Sadly, the music I listen to the most (and stream on the BBS radio station)_
is a collection of ambient tracks I ripped from the Majestic ARG in 2001 at 56 kbps. I could listen to those through old earbuds and not notice a degratation.

and the batteries always die at the worst time!

I've been pretty happy with my xbox One, but it was a gift. It is frustrating that virtually none of the old peripherals (and very few games) from the 360 work on the One, but Fallout 4 on the One has been pretty adictive for me. The graphics are noticably better on everything.

Speaker manufacturers seem to have stabilized on the "satellite speakers on your desk with a subwoofer at your feet" and it seems to be a nice compromise on desktop speaker size without affecting performance.

I would of been very happy if the Sega Collection OR Blue Dragon OR
Tales of Vesperia were avaliable as Backwards Compatablity.
