My plan is to work on Mystic for the Pi, I just wanna know if there is anyone else out there running it?
Dozens of people running it. Check the mystic echo on fido or fsxnet.
I ran it myself for a while, but I like my ezycom setup too much to
shut it down. :)

Raspberry Pi 3 (arm/v7)
uBuntu Mate 16.3 (pi edition)
Mystic BBS (32bit arm/v6 edition)
I haven't had much experience with Mystic on Linux so I know I'm going
to be doing some hardcore hair pulling (if I wasn't already bald)
trying to get DOS doors working with the BBS and dosemu (hate hate
hate) .. so I am all ears if anyone has any tips or hints to point me along the proper path.
Much oblidged to any info I get from anyone
Yessir. Quite a few of us are using Mystic on a Pi. I'm happy to answer any questions.
Definitely a doable plan, except...
As far as I know there is still no Pi/ARM version of dosemu. ARM has
some kind o f DOS emulator that hasn't been proven 100% successful with getting door games t o work executed from a BBS. So while in the future
I may even be thinking to mov ing from my tow

I'm guessing the main issue currently is just that they are emulators

I don't know specifics and I'm just guessing, as I'm not a developer.
The only t hing I have going is experience, and dosemu has worked on
Linux for me for years so I would actually like to see option #1 fullfilled if at all possible, but if we have to go
Ok well from what I have been seeing, dosemu will NOT build on the Pi.. the only supporting x86 emulator that I have found is rpix86 .. it's pretty lean and doesn't support many options but I DO believe I will be able to make it work. I can launch the emulator from the door menu and

Yea I noticed that after the fact.. There has to be a way.. source

rpix86 does seem promising, just need to kickstart the dev into making
it a bit more practical.. as it sits I DO believe it is a viable
option, just need to put heads together and come up with a solution
added to door menu with a hidden command execute program
rpix86 -a2 -f2 -d/mystic/doors/lord

I haven't messed around with qemu much so I dont have any comments or opinions until I mess around with it a bit
