just wantin to ask if its a good idea to use a BBS via telnet on andorid 5.x i mean im useing it right now to post this msg but some of the text is garbled up and the phone donst know what to do with it
the SSH/Telner softwere im useing is called Terumis

There is one, though not free, called ANSI Terminal Mobile by Horsequester, that works very well.

on something i hate. i've done that too much before.

Not that I am aware of. Cost is $1.00 USD
That said, it doesn't seem to be further supported or updated by the author since 2014
It renders ANSI extremely well, but doesn't auto-detect color. The locked on-screen keyboard sucks, as I like to use my Asus Slider, which is an Android tablet with a built-in keyboard. WTF do I need an onscreen keyboard that I can't get rid of when I have a mechanical keyboard right here..

There are few terminal/telnet clients on Android that emulate codepage and f correctly to use them for connecting to a BBS.
There is one, though not free, called ANSI Terminal Mobile by Horsequester, that works very well.
I was not able to locate Terumis, so I was not able to try it out.
Generally speaking, you will need a terminal emulator that does code page 43 or vt100 at the least, along with a good font, like a console font with supp for extended ascii characters.
