    Anyone fly RC Heli's??

    I have been flying some of the real inexpensive China Clones. Posted an article on my web site http://hk-helis.com ..

    I fly the 450 and the 250 size clones and they do really well. You can actually build one for less than $200 then just add your RX and TX ...

    I fly Heli's. Mostly Raptors. Spend the money on good ones and get some good help. It doesn't take long to trash $200 or so. If I can help you at all let

    I had a couple of Raptors years ago, I even converted one over to CCPM with
    the ZeroG Frames. Then I moved on to bigger and better. I had a Couple of
    XCell Fury 90's , a XCell Spectra G Gasser. Then I went to Electrics, I had a Trex 600 which I flew in Iraq during a deployment, and a couple of Trex 450's. The HK series of Helis are exact Clones of the Trex Helis by Align, they are about 1/5 the price and fly just like the Align birds. The clone market from China has really stepped up. Spending money on the good stuff is not the best idea anymore, I would venture a guess that most of the clone parts are made in the same factory as the align parts.

    If you take a look at the build articles and videos on my web site it will
    give you an idea of the capabilities of the basic HK450 kit for a beginner. My articles are posted on helifreak.com as well and have been read more than 70,000 times. Its gotten alot of people into the hobby cheaply, then they can decide on the next step from there.


    I fly Heli's. Mostly Raptors. Spend the money on good ones and get some

    Just woundering if any one out there is into RC Heli or Planes.
    Looking to get into the Hobby.

    Love the Helcopters but having a hard time learning how to fly them.

    Thinking maybe I should start with the beginner Planes frist.

    Any suggestion on this?

    I jumped right into flying RC Helicopters. Plane is nothing like a helicopter so that is not like a starting point at all. What you want is to start off with a small as you can get indoor RC helicopter that is for newbies.
    Learn to control a gyro based indoor and work your way out.
    toptoyexpress.com has some really good newbie RC helicopters that are fun to fly.
    My office we get SH Copter 6025 MINIX by the bulk to torture each other with fly-by's and blow all the papers off each others desk. These things are like disposable RC helicopters. Best of all they really can't do a whole lot of damage when they hit something either.

    I have two heli now the MCX2 and the Blade mSR both heli our great.
    Got me a good RealFight Simulator its help alot but still I find that flying them is the best way to learn.
    Now i'm saving up for a good Transmitter and then on to a bigger Heli.
    Any help on this would be help full.

    Start with the minis in house that have gyros. They are stable and get you interested becasue they fly so easy and hover great. You can then after practice, get to the bigger outdoor rc helis...those also have gyros for stability, but you do not want to have one fall from a gret height..they are heaver adn break on impact...get started and get the feel from the great
    little indoor jobs..
