i am getting a raspberry pi next week and I am super excited about it. I will msinly be using it for emulation and there is even a gaming OS called PiPlay. Do any of you guys have one? What do you think of them?

I have a Pi B+. I don't really use it for anything. I have it running, and
I have a copy of Mystic running on it, for development.

That's cool man. I just got it this week and it is a B+ I am using it right now to post on here. It's really an amazing little box. I use it mainly for old consoles game emulation.

There's an interesting article on a site called Midwestern Mac that talks
about the microSD card performance on the Raspberry Pi. With a little bit of research into which card you buy apparently you can get a pretty decent boost in response time. You might want to give it a read to try to squeeze everything you can out of your Pi.

I'm not familiar with PiPlay. But I've tried emulationStation on a Pi2 and
I'm very pleased. Was looking for mame emulation and its solid. It's also
does must console and the interface is very sleek
