I enjoy going out to take photos occasionally. I use digital cameras. I enjoy taking a good photo, and also experimenting with low-light photography & HDR sometimes, and I've also tinkered with editing the raw files to make my photos look better. Mostly though, I suppose taking photos for the memories is a bit more important to me than doing it for artistic purposes.

I dabble. I have a Canon 550D with some of the cheap/stock lenses and an EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM which I use most of the time, but espcially for my oldest daughter's volleyball tournaments.

I'm a little more serious about the videos. My current video rig is a combination of a Sony HDR-AS100V Action Cam (shock-mounted on a 13' light-stand/tripod) and a Sony HX400V Bridge/Super-Zoom on a regular tripod, both recording 1080p/60fps. The Action Cam records entire matches with a wide field of view while the second/zoom camera is for close-ups and highlights (e.g. slow-motion replays). I use Adobe Premiere Elements for the video editing.

Here's an example (my daughter was #38 on this team): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnfifIN1tKY

I'm an amateur. I have an Olympus E-PL5 with a couple lenses. I like trying to find birds and butterflies and things when I walk my kids to school. I also like making timelapses and using remote trigger thingies.

You can see some of my photos at flickr.com/kirkman14

Just check you on flick, it's really good.

You can also check me on flick at https://www.flickr.com/photos/ennev

I play with a mix of cameras. Like they says i got "GAS" Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Play with a mix of digital and analog. I also own a E-PL5, I really love it's flexibility and the fact that is so easy to adapt all kind of different makers lenses to it.

Cool, i would really like to see if you have some picture up somewhere.

There is only one way to take digital pictures, it's in raw ;-)
