Damn... It wasn't something I was actually thinking about. I mean it wasn't bouncing around in my head type thing... I just had this miniscule worry that Micheal Vick would end up in Philly... Well, I get up this morning and am reading the news, and low and behold... We
the "Eagles" are the proud owners of "Bad News Kennels"...

Well... he did serve his time. He paid his dues. But Damn!!!

So, now the questions start. Did they pick up Vick to "Backup" Donavan, or is he the heir apparent? I mean, as fragile as Donavan has been over the last few years, having Vick sitting in the wings has some
    interesting possibilites.

Oh well, just thought I'd toss that one out there for conversation!

Thanks Sniper for bringing up the Vick story. As a Eagles fan that i have mixed feelings about this topic. First i understand that Vick served his time and probably learned his lesson. I only question since i am a animal lover. No matter what kind of dog fighting ring he had, i mean the breed of dog. That it doesn't give him the right to use them dogs on his own property if i am correct to fight it out to the death. Especially when people forget the fact
that animals are living beings too. I really thought that since some of my friends were discussing the idea that Vick would end up on the New York Jets that when i learned he turned up on my team the Eagles that it was a shocker at first.

As I said, I don't agree with what he did, but, as they say, he did his time, and after his meeting with the League, he was cleared to play
(with stipulations) which so far he has complied with. I feel he's on his way. I'm looking forward to the added dimension.

Now as a quarterback that he is. I am not sure until the regular season begins. Except i forgot about the preseason which
could also make Donovan look bad and Vick becoming the starter quarterback.
I guess we have to wait and see how it turns out.

I doubt that he will become the "Starter" unless something happens to McNabb. But, until then the added dimension that he is going to add...
I can't wait. Lets just say that the Wildcat offense could be a very interesting aspect. I forsee a very interesting season for the Eagles! If they can get over the damn injury problems they are in the middle of! They desperately need top shelf receivers. And Westbrook... well, I
wish we had another big name halfback or fullback. Sunday Dec 06 game will be very intersting! :)

Well at this point of the regular season that McNabb is out with a broken rib and the team i think won a game and they lost yesterday. I never understood what you meant about the injuries situation with the Eagles that
can cause them to have a bad season. Now i do understand with the loss of McNabb as the starter QB. We shall see how the next game goes.

Yeap... the exact senerio. Totally sucks. We would have probably won
that game, but, we had a shitty QB. And we'll probably have the same
    damn problem this week.

Speaking of which what is happening during the off season for the Eagles team? Do you think they be better or worse next season for 2010? By the way sorry for my late reply. At this point that i write this reply that i don't know what is happening with the Eagles during the off season. Did anything happen to trading players or getting younger players. I don't even remember if the NFL draft has happened. Keep me updated to what you find out, since i don't listen to much or at all on the radio from philadelphia.
    Thanks.

Personally, I don't really care what happens to Philadelphia. I just hope they beat Dallas TWICE next season...but then again, that goes for every other team in the NFC East.

Well it be great for any team to beat Dallas. I heard or learned that they got rid of the QB of the Eagles Mc Nabb. Other than that, that is all i know for the off season. We are now heading into summer and pretty soon the next season will start. By the way what do you think of us here in New Jersey hosting the super bowl outdoors. Even if the Giants or
Jets don't play in that super bowl that it still be great for NFL football to play a outdoor game in the elements if it snows or something. Let me know
    what you think.

Well during the time period that i type this response.
That Dallas isn't doing so good, so you got your wish. I find it strange too that they are hosting the super bowl in the new stadium. Kind of a slap in
the face, since Dallas will make good revenue with the super bowl in town in a new state of the art stadium. Does anyone know how old Jerry Jones is the owner of the Cowboys?
