spent last night watching jasons scotts docuseries on bbs's lool
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7nj3G6Jpv2G6Gp6NvN1kUtQuW8QshBWE

i'm actually the guy who encoded them and uploaded them to google video years ago. people would download it and thenyea, quality left a bit to be desired, but on the other side of the coin, in some ways it added to it.. you know.. grainy VHS style LOL
reupload it to get it monatized.
Jason said he didn't know how to do it but i think he was just lazy.
I asked his permission to upload it and then google gave me a special account after i uploaded them.
BBS doc isn't great but it's jason's best work. he got a lot of money to make other ones but he just pocketed the cash and
never did it. he blocked me on twitter for calling him out on it. gofundme actually changed their policies because of what
he was doing. the jason scott "sabbatical".
I heard he got banned from defcon because of how he behaved when making their doc and what he produced. or never invited
back.

yea, quality left a bit to be desired, but on the other side of the coin, in some ways it added to it.. you know..well it's not THAT bad. i just used xvid and only 2 passes. back then there were limits.
grainy VHS style LOL
oooh touch a nerve LOL... seriously though.. yea it was find considering the
date after all. heck, a decent length film takes a while to render on this machine too and it's not that old. but that's why i let them run over night and pray that winders doesnt decide to reboot in the middle of it lol

no you didnt touch a nerve. i didnt know what i was doing and i was using other people's programs. it must have been good
for people to rip it off 1,000 times.
oh i have an old i7 and it can render a movie pretty quick.my main machine is a simple i5
you just need a good processor with a decent amount of memory.i have to mess with video these days, it's a part of my one job. although sometimes i do get to play with 40 grands worth of gear when i have to do the church videos :D sooo much nicer lol
there's no reason to even mess with video nowadays. you can just download what you want.
