I have been somewhat familiar with archive.org in the past, but
by some seredipity/chance/fluke or whatever, I happened to look
for classic hollywood films and discovered that there are quite
lot available for download! I was particularily impressed with
the colourized versions of some familiar classics. I liked
that they even have a category for film noir (a favourite

organized since the last time I dropped by several years ago.

Many years ago I saw a clip from the movie "The Milkman" starring Jimmy Durante and Donald O'Conner.
I mentioned it in FIDO Memories echo .
Another person later said it wasn't on YT when he looked.
I went back to the Bookmark and saw a note that Universal asked YT to remove it.
Ed
Don't think YT would have it.

Youtube is definitely not what I would use to look for specific movies (there are other sites for that), but that Reddit has links to interesting ones that get posted from time to time. Many of them do not stay on there for long. It's just something for when you're curious and might want "random".

Thank You.
I only have a cellphone now, if myXP box had Internet service I would like to have the link.
Since getting the phone I haven't looked at You Tube.
The phone doesn't have as much storage space as a Real Computer.
Got 2Tb HDD in the XP box.

Piece work is another job that pays the employee according to how many pieces are worked on.
As a Router operator I put holes in wood pieces according to the pattern
After getting this phone I put NoScript on it.
At the IMDb site I temporary allow some things.
Guess I need to figure out which of the things I temp allow is letting that Pop Up Ad appear.
I see it when I tap to see Filming Locations or some other feature I am curious about like Parental info .

I forgot to mention that I look at the Internet Movie DataBase IMDb.com (or
company has a good website or mobile app or whatever. Never lasts long.
But I digress. One thing I don't like about IMDB is their ratings of movies. It's almost like you have to learn how bad it is and then adjust your expectations from their ratings :).

IMDB used to have the _best_ mobile apps. It's like someone that worked there was really good and actually cared. Then all of a sudden, it all went downhill. Such a shame, but it's like the same thing happens any time a company has a good website or mobile app or whatever. Never lasts long.

But like any rule, it does seem to get broken a lot. Check out stations in CA to get plenty of examples.
"Rank" is rather subjective. If PBS feels there's objectional material, specify it before it starts, like other stations do. Let the viewer decide.

I know Android OS is a Google product but wanted NoScript to limit Google and Amazon products to the Default setting when I visited a page.
Only Temporarily Allow those when the page REALLY need it to let me see or do what the page is for.

dont know what you mean by default setting and temporarily allow. I think it's on your phone but doing nothing.

Android box hooked up to a TV? For one, NewPipe is a decent Youtube client that blocks ads and such. It doesn't let you log in, though, it keeps all your subs and history to itself. Better yet, though, there's also Kodi which has a Youtube add-on. I use various browser plugins to right-click YT links and select "Send to Kodi" so I can watch them on my TV.
Oh yeah, no ads there either.

What concerns me is that the marketing industry is bubbling up and its burst will destroy many services people is used to.
Meanwhile use adblockers like everybody else, and let the sheep fund your services by watching ads.
