The whole reason I got into finding BBS boards is my search for more tracker files from back in the Amiga's hey-day, and through that I've found quite a few interesting tracker compilations which have introduced me to some of my favorite artists (XTD, Uncle Tom, Nighthawk, & Dreamer to name a few). I'd love to hear if anyone has a tracker artist of the time they'd consider their favorite (if I had to pick one it would be Nighthawk)?

I don't have an answer for your question, but I wanted to mention that I just recently found this Fasttracker II clone for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux:

I had never used Fasttracker II originally, but I like its retro UI, and it's able to play .mod files (I only have a couple; I'd like to find more).

you are better off going on websites for that stuff.
I was into it but i can't remember anything about it. people didnt
really keep interest in it and i dont know anybody in bbsing who's really
into it.

I'd love to share some from my collection, but I must admit I'm new to boards and am unfamiliar with how the file-sharing aspect of it works, lol.
