is it normal when you are on using petscii for it to say that
file.asc is missing infinity times when you use bbs.menu to load
a .ans file? my copy of synchronet is a few weeks old.... seems a bit odd to be stuck forever over a missing file..

No, it's not normal. More information (the exact error message or log message, e.g. from data/error.log, if they're there) would be helpful.

modified renegades command shell, and i was being a bit snarky, it's only like 130 times or so that it says the error, then it resumes, just feels like more on StrikeTerm (c64).

I made a check to see if they have ansi, if not, it doesnt run the advert/image.. fixed.
