  • Error on new install

    I downloaded both the base and the Pi toy-7 update. Installed onto a new Pi os 64
    bit and getting this error

    ./bcfg4: cannot execute: required file not found

    libc6 is installed. Any idea what I am doing wrong

    I have it running through a cloudflare tunnel which means I don't need to open a port on my network :)

    I don't know if this will help but try running ldd against bcfg4 and see if there is any hint.

    You could also try file and see what it has to say about bcfg4.

    libc6 is installed. Any idea what I am doing wrong

    I have seen this when trying to run a 32bit app on a pure 64bit OS.

    Running "file linux-armv6l/bcfg4" says:

    linux-armv6l/bcfg4: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, ...

    So you need 32bit glibc: either 32bit OS or 32bit glibc.deb. I'm not sure if RPi OS has mixed 32bit/64bit debs available.
