    Title: Celeriac Steaks
    Categories: Vegetarian
    Yield: 1 Batch

    1 ts Soy sauce; up to 2 ts
    1 ts Maple syrup; up to 2 ts
    1 ts Sunflower oil; up to 2 ts
    1 Celeriac

    This recipe is way nicer than it sounds.

    Preheat oven to 200°C (fan).

    Top and tail the celeriac, then peel and trim it generously to remove
    any fibrous parts.

    Cut the celeriac into chunky slices (about 15 mm thick). Cut a shallow
    cross-hatch pattern in the top if you like.

    Make a marinade of equal parts soy sauce, maple syrup, and sunflower
    oil. Coat the celeriac slices in the marinade.

    Place the slices on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.

    Brush the celeriac with more marinade, flip the slices and brush the
    other side. Return to the oven.

    Bake for another 15 minutes. They should be a little crispy on the
    edges but not burnt.
