    Title: Pineapple Walnut Bars
    Categories: Cookies, Bars
    Yield: 16 Bars

    8 1/4 oz Can crushed pineapple
    2 c Flour
    2 c Brown sugar; packed
    1/2 c Butter; softened
    1 c Walnuts; chopped
    1 ts Ground cinnamon
    1 ts Baking soda
    1/4 ts Salt
    1 Egg
    3/4 c Dairy sour cream
    1 ts Vanilla extract
    Powdered sugar (optional)

    Drain pineapple well, pressing out excess liquid with back of spoon.
    Grease 9x13" pan. Combine flour, sugar, and butter; mix until finely
    crumbled. Stir in walnuts. Press 2 cups mixture into bottom of
    prepared baking pan. To remaining flour mixture add cinnamon, soda,
    and salt; blend well. Beat in egg, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir in
    pineapple. Spoon evenly over pressed flour mixture. Bake in 350°F
    oven 40 minutes until cookie pulls away from sides of pan and center
    tests done. Cool completely in pan. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut
    into 16 bars.
