    Title: Baked Nutella Iris
    Categories: Breads, Chocolate, Desserts, Snacks
    Yield: 12 Servings

    500 g (4 c) flour
    250 ml (1 c) lukewarm water
    50 g (1 3/4 oz) lard
    50 g (1 3/4 oz) sugar
    10 g (2 ts) salt
    7 g (2 1/2 ts) active dry yeast
    Nutella; as needed
    Milk; to brush

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water together with 1
tbsp of the sugar. Set it aside to activate.

In the meantime, put the remaining sugar, flour, salt
and lard in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a
dough hook. Once the yeast and water mixture has become
frothy, add it to the bowl. Knead well until you obtain
    a smooth and pliable dough.

Let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough in 12 balls. Flatten them with a
rolling pin. Place some Nutella in the centre of the
dough circle. Then gather the edges and seal your bun.
Put it upside down on a baking tray covered with baking
    paper.

    Brush with some milk.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 200ºC/390ºF for 10 minutes,
    or until golden brown.

Let the buns cool down completely, then dust with icing
    sugar and serve.

    Title: Nutella Brownies
    Categories: Five, Chocolate, Nuts, Cookies
    Yield: 9 servings

    Non-stick cooking spray
    1 1/2 c (442 g) chocolate hazelnut
    - spread
    2 lg Eggs; room temp
    3/4 ts Kosher salt
    1/3 c (43 g) A-P flour

    Set the oven @ 350ºF/175ºC.

Grease an 8" square metal baking pan with non-stick
cooking spray and line with a long sheet of parchment
paper that extends over two opposite sides of the pan.

Whisk the Nutella, eggs and salt in a large bowl until
smooth. Gently fold in the flour with a flexible
spatula, just until the last streak disappears.

Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22
to 25 minutes, rotating at the halfway point, until
crackly-topped and slightly puffed. A wooden skewer or
cake tester inserted in the center should come out just
clean. Try not to overbake, as these brownies dry out
    quickly.

Let cool to room temperature before lifting the brownies
from the pan with the paper overhang, slicing into 9
squares and serving. Brownies will keep tightly wrapped
at room temperature for up to 3 days and in the freezer
    for up to a month.
