    Hardly, 'my' system sends auto updates to 2:25/21 every 12 months and the next due one is for 1st May.

    Such a period is easy to configure for the crontab scheduler where as every 10 months is not.

    If you want to get rid of the warnings just run it twice a year. That can be easily configured in cron with */6 in the month field. Or if you want to run it in specific months you could for instance specify 4,10 to run it in april and october.

    Yes, that would be the better solution although it would be nice if there was more control of cron jobs but I am being very MVS picky,
