I noticed starting in the late '60s many sitcoms, with a live audience, the actors seemed to shout their lines. Rather than speak in a normal voice they often yell.
They have microphones, they don't need to project to reach the audience member in the back row any longer.
I don't have a tv (haven't for years) so have no idea what's on tv now, hot or not. The only times I know about a show is if its in the news for some reason or others talk about it.
