    MBBSEmu was created in order to lower the effort required to enjoy Games and Applications that were written for DOS versions of both The MajorBBS or Worldgroup on any modern operating system. While today it is still possible
    to install and configure The MajorBBS or Worldgroup inside a Virtual Machine, the effort and technical know-how required is a huge barrier for many people. Many have fond memories of using Bulletin Board Systems, not many are
    nostalgic about going through the long technical process of setting one up.

    I'm a patron of this project and a few things I've discussed with the author are automatic RLogin passthru (i.e., have "MBBS T-LORD" as a game in your mystic doors menu, and when you launch it, just wind up in MBBS T-LORD
    instead of having to create an account in MBBS) and a future where other
    unique BBS doorgame APIs are supported (think TBBS, for example).

    Very cool stuff. :) And it's rather fast! I've tested it on my BBS.

    Nice! Just signed up as $3 patron and got the ARM version to play around with. Pretty quick setup on the Pi, and a growing collection of modules...
