After Posting a message about local mail I have another issues I am not understanding.

Everytime I log in I see that it shows i have 4 messages in mail. it asks if
i want to read the messages and I select Yes .. then it does nothing be drop me to the main menu ... So I select M for Messages and then select C to check for local mail ... The BBS displays four messages and asks if I want to read them. Again , I select Yes ... it does nothing, goes right back to the messages menu.

This is only happening to local messages. Any Messages or NETMail is not having an issue. In Fact, I had no issue sending a FILEFIX to subscribe to
the new FSX_IMGE without issue. Crazy ... Any Ideas how to resolve.

I think at the moment you are using a netmail type base for you 'local' bbs email so if there are netmails in there not addressed to you there will be
new messages in the base but you will not be able to read someone elses netmail... that's my first guess at what's happening.

Have a read of my reply to your post in the Mystic echoarea and see if that helps
