    Hello all,

Thank you for acceptance in the BBS/network.

I am trying to start a BBS server here in Romania. Right now there are 0

It is new to me and I have a lot to learn at this moment but I hope I can
    count on your support :)

    Best Regard,

Welcome aboard!! This is the place for help.. These guys are the best..I ran
a BBS from 1986 till 1996 (mainly Commodore boards) and decided a little over
a year ago to get back into it, and 1 year ago today I put up my Wrong Number ][ BBS on Mystic software... From there I put up a CNet Amiga BBS Wrong
Number ]I[, a SynchroNet BBS Wrong Number IV, a Commodore Image BBS Wrong Number V, and FINALLY another Commodore Image BBS Bucko's Den (Yea I know why not WN?? It was put up on the Anniversary of my first BBS).. Unfortunately, I took the SynchroNet down in November but Wrong Number IV will live again (it
is already but it's hidden from the world).. Now since I went off on a
tangent, Enjoy running a BBS.. It is a lot of fun again for me at least.. Ask any questions you may have you'll get a log of help!!

I managed to get the BBS online and also connect it to fsxNet using Avon's videos.
My BBS telnet address is apernevan.tk

Regarding fsxNet, when I run fidopoll, only outbound messages get sent but no inbound messages or files get downloaded.
The "Hello World" message I've sent made it to fsxNet General Chat so
    something works.
Is this because I do not have a node number yet? I am using right now
    21:1/999. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Andrei

Great! I'll have to try to get over there and take a look at it.

I believe there is another node which is also using the 21:1/999 test
address. It is possible that node had picked up any replies before you connected.

The best thing to do, is apply for a node number. That way, you will know
that you will be getting all of the mail coming through the network.

Glad to have you on board!

    Welcome
