I see in fsx (where InterBBS Last Caller and InterBBS OneLiner) some entries labeled MBBSLIST.

    Is this an Inter-BBS BBS-Listing?

Where do I get the software for this so I can put it on my BBS?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Quazar BBS Door Game Server: quazarbbs.dynu.net Port 2323
    300 F-ing Baud BBS: 300baud.dynu.net Port 2525

The MBBSLIST one's are Apam's new InterBBS BBS lister for Magicka BBS!

I think you can post a message to MBBSLIST using that format and my BBS
lister here will add your BBS to my (and other Magicka's) BBS List.

It would be nice if other BBSs picked up on the format and we could have
a nice InterBBS BBS list.. :)

I'm going to go over the details again and post an example of what I
think will work in a bit here.

    Ttyl :-)

Al's answer probably told you all you need to know, but I'll answer as
    well anyway :)

    Yes

Sorry, nothing for mystic at this stage. I've made the format readable
though, so if someone wants to pick it up and make a mystic mod, they're
more than welcome to. Maybe something that imports them into Gryphon's
    BBS lister?

XQTR has something similar with his xBBSList thing, but it's not
opensource and I couldn't figure out the format, so I just made my own.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The BBS listing format is fairly self explanatory, except perhaps the
telnet & ssh ports, which can be anything from 1-65355 (but if the bbs
doesn't have ssh for example you put -1)

If you (or anyone else) is interested in implementing a mystic mod for it
and need help with the format, just let me know :)

    Andrew

Ah ha! This detail hung me up a bit.

So, if I have my details right the message needs to be ten lines long and
have a subject line of MBBSLIST. It doesn't matter who the message is to
    or from?

    Line 1: BEGIN BBSENTRY >>>
    Line 2: BBS Name
    Line 3: Sysop name
    Line 4: Location
    Line 5: BBS Software name
    Line 6: BBS hostname/URL
Line 7: Telnet port (23, 2023 or -1 if none)
Line 8: SSH port (22, 2024 or -1 if none)
    Line 9: Description
    Line 10: END BBSENTRY >>>

I also wonder about line 9. I assume this is a short one line
    description?
