• WWIVnet-FTN Help

From Ricky DeLuco@21:1/136 to All on Fri Mar 1 07:53:43 2024
If anyone using Mystic BBS and has WWIVnet-FTN gated messaging set up can you please help me. Go into your network where the node is configured and check what "DOMAIN" you have set. I had to recreate this and now I cannot connect.

I think my domain is wrong. node WWIVnet-FTN node is 11:1/222 and my WWIVnet is @120

Really want to get this fixed.

This usually means there is a problem with one of the passwords.

Turning up your debug might help more.

    It could be:
    * You are not presenting your FTN for some reason
    * You have a password mismatch (if you have CRAM-MD5 than case will be sensitive).
    * You collect other mail from this system (for a different FTN), and the binkp password is different..

Otherwise seeing the debug from the other side would help...

There is a password issue. That is what is causing the Authorization Failed..

... Help! I can't find the "ANY" key.
