    Hi

I'm sitting here fiddling with MagiTerm, looking at releasing 0.9.96
before I go away next week..

So far the tweaks include :

    * PageUp/PageDown support in file dialogs and the dialing directory.
    * Alt-H to hang up.
    * Improved file transfer dialog

I'm thinking I also want to add a feature so you can start typing a bbs
name and have it jump to the entry.

Is there anything you think I should add?

Zmodem seems to mostly work (although slowly), but it might be useful if
you could plug in external protocols, like sexyz or lrzsz as well. Not
sure how it would work on windows though...

Somethings I thought might be nice for 1.0.0 is rlogin support, but not
    sure how useful that is.

I like all three of those features!

    Yes.

I can't remember if it has it... the abliity to import another
directory feature? ie: your BBS list door that reads a syncterm file.

There are external protocols for windows. However I'm fine with the
internal one even if it's slow as the only thing I download really is
    offline mail packets.

Somethings I thought might be nice for 1.0.0 is rlogin support, but
not sure how useful that is.

Yeah ssh / telnet seem to be the most used.

    Hi

So, does anyone still use this?

If so, does anyone compile it themselves?

I'm working on some updates, Just some little things that bug me...

the TAB character no longer displays a o like symbol, but rather tabs
across tab stops (at present the tab stops can't be modified though)

The terminal starts up in the last mode it was used at, also if it's last
used in double size it will start in double size rather than start in
    normal size then quickly change.

Screen modes can be changed on the fly, so, you can change your screen
size mid session (although I don't think any BBS supports that - other
than talisman, and talisman only supports it in telnet).

So I'm about to do a push, and was hoping if people do compile it
themselves they can help test it. I'll do a new release another day,
    after testing some.

Yep, I use it and compile it myself and it compiles and runs fine on my box. I've been using 1.1.13 for a while now.

I'll grab fresh source and let you know if I have any issues.

Linux version is available on opensuse build service and I added debian
11 packages (as well as debian 10, 9 and opensuse, fedora, raspbian and
    Centos 8)

I think you did, but I don't remember how to do it. I'll have to have a
    look tomorrow.

I am still using it on a nix box. It has been so long since I installed the version I am using, I am not sure if I compiled it or installed a binary.
