So, I know that I'm supposed to do some modifications in order to prevent
DPMI, but all the instructions I have seen say to execute pkz204g.exe first
and it should extract. When I execute pkz204g.exe in dosemu it just immediately crashes back to shell and I haven't been able to find any log
file to indicate the issue. I had this same thing trying to run some other games and was never able to figure out what was going wrong.

    Anyone else seen this?

    Actually found it in ~/.dosemu/boot.log

Nevermind... Lol, seems like it was the version of pkz that I had. Copying
the one over from the scinet pack I was able to extract.

And this is why people should read every message before they respond, lol. I had a whole check list written up of things for you to try and then came to this message and realized you figured it out, lol.

I'll start reading messages in two sessions, one to read ahead and the other
to respond lol. Or maybe an offline reader could come in handy... just didn't find any that I really like.

    Cheers!

I recommend MultiMail. Native versions for Linux, Windows, OS/2,
DOS, Mac. Really the best I've ever seen/used.

I have a dedicated NNTP server for SciNet. I spun it up to test fidogate as I worked on the code. I really should open it up and offer it up to the
community as it is a peered server on usenet. Never-the-less, I drifted away there for a second. Using an NNTP reader that lays messages out in threads is really nice.

I'll try it again, last time I was not conquered if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give a second shot.

That may be another good option, I could have some bases on my phone too and
    no messing with download/upload packets.

I'll put it on the list.
