I ended up getting a licence for zoc since it has more features than Syncterm and netrunner would ever have such as scripting features where i could just logon and grab my mail to download and logoff.

I am wondering about the orange/brown type color in zoc. How do I configure the color for the capital LETTERS.

I remember using ZOC as my preferred term prog. It was
excellent for connecting to mainframes. I don't remember if
there ever was a free version, but I have a feeling I purchased
a license many years ago. I used the scripting features too.

I doubt many others use this or know the answer. Since it's a
commercial product that you paid for... it doesn't come with a manual?
I just checked their website and there's a "Support" tab.

I always used Telix for BBSing; the learn mode mostly worked in scripting things. Ended up keeping an old copy of Procomm Plus for my job, because my target systems (Nortel PBXes) needed solid VT220 emulation, and other Nortel admins had shared plenty of admin scripts that helped in managing the
system. Back then, we passed around floppy disks at meetings. Man, I'm old. :)

Telix and SALT and the sound of a connection were all well part of my youth and bring back a lot of happy memories.
