That's because your palate has been ruined by corn syrup.

Pepsi with real sugar tastes real bad.
You should try Pepsi Max Cherry or Max Vanilla. Most disgusting cola I've ever tasted.

I tend to prefer Pepsi over Coca-cola. I haven't tried those flavors specifically, but generally I like cherry and vanilla flavored colas.
This one?

Who's old enough to remember crystal pepsi? A friend who tended bar described the flavor as when you pressed all the buttons on a dirty bar dispenser.

I think the real sugar colas taste pretty good. Dr. Pepper had one for
a brief time (when all the soda makers started to make their "throwback" versions years ago). I thought Dr. Pepper's was pretty good too, but I don't think they're making a real sugar version anymore.
I think theirs was Dr. Pepper "Heritage"?

I bet most are old enough but I don't think it was released everywhere. Since MN is Pepsi's Capital we did have it. It was ok. Neat idea till they found it the stuff used to remove all coloring was really bad for you. Then it went away.
Yeah, that stuff is just... yuck! I stay away from a lot of those drinks. I MO>ly drink just water and tea. Not a coffee guy at all. And my vice? Either a===
or G-Fuel enery drink. But only 1 day and I put it in a tumbler with ice to

Really? They brought Crystal Pepsi back just a few years ago, for a limited time.

I stopped drinking soda more than 10 years ago. Don't have a taste for
it anymore. I also drink mostly water, I do however drink coffee and occasionally tea. Not much for hot cocoa either.
I do find the carbonated flavored waters like 'Bubbly' or other similar ones OK on a limited basis. I live where I have a ground well for water and the water is very mineralized. So I purchased a water cooler and get
3 or 4 bottles of water delivered a month. I mostly drink chilled water.
I find the G-Fuel and Monster type drinks to be pretty similar to soda. Nothing against anyone who drinks soda or anything else. I just wanted
to say Hi.

tip. This might be a good alternative, but it's a pretty expensive
outlay to start with. In the end though, would most likely be a better proposision.
Sounds like you have a handle on the situation!

I found it slightly horrifying, but the US is mostly known for heavily-processed foods, and I dutifully packed Mrs. Butterworth into
my suitcase.
And, for the record, it _is_ hard to find pancake syrup here, but maple syrup (Ahornsirip) is easy to find, so long as you're happy with
Canadian maple syrup.
There's a difference between Canadian and U.S. maple syrup?

souvenirs). We picked him up a bunch of 4oz bottles of real maple syrup made near by here. He said that went over very well in Japan.

A friend of ours was going to Japan and would be visiting families
there. One custom in Japan is the giving of small gifts (sort of like souvenirs). We picked him up a bunch of 4oz bottles of real maple
syrup made near by here. He said that went over very well in Japan.

I am guessing the difference is that the "pancake" syrup is processed and sweetened, where the ahornsirip maybe is not.
