Just have to say that when I spun up this message network in late 2015 with the aim of having a few nodes join and take part I'd never have thought some 8 years later here we'd be with certainly more than a 100 systems connected globally and taking part in it.

Today I added new BBS from USA, Netherlands, France and Austria and that's really cool. Many systems have joined from the USA and other parts around the globe. Yep some and some go but there are names and systems running today that have been essentially running since this network started up and in a number of cases well before it too... go you good guys :)

So thanks, thanks for taking part, taking time to post things here and in other echomail areas when you have the time, and for being supportive and kind to others when they ask questions and/or need help with BBS and retro stuff.

We have a good community in fsxNet. Some may disagree and that's fine to as we've all got choices as to where to hang out etc. If this was not still fun for me to do and be involved in I would have long since left. But helping folks and meeting new people via this medium has been enjoyable for a number of years and I hope to keep doing it for some time yet.

Golly I hope 2023 is kinder to all of us, it's been a tough few years for many (myself included with parental ill health and helping others in our family) but that's life eh? Comes with it's ups and downs and good to remember that nothing stays the same, else it would all be rather dull.

OK enough waffling on, best do those lawns darn it.

I'm finally getting to the point where when I joined was closer to the beginning than now.

And, yeah, nifty that it's lasted that long, and grown that much. But still isn't _so_ big that it's overwhelmingly large, for keeping up on messages.

(not that I'd begrudge the growth. I just would keep up even less. :) )

Thanks again for connecting my system to fsxNet, and thinking along with the small challenges I had! It's good to be here and I'm having great fun returning to 'the hobby' (or art, if you will) of BBS'ing.

So far, all of it is a very welcoming and enjoyable experience!

    Cheers,
