  • HAM license

    I've never had a HAM license, but I've often thought about getting one.. I've heard the tests no longer require knowledge of Morse code?

    I'm also surprised at the number of BBS sysops who are also into HAM radio.. I never would have guessed there would be a connetction. :)

    Yes you and me both... there seem to be a few overlapping themes between most folks and this is certainly one of them :)

    That's correct, the Morse requirement was dropped years ago.

    Both hobbies involve tinkering and communication. :)

    And these aspects attracted me to both ham radio and BBSing. :D
