I wanted to setup Gary's Quazar door server on HappyLand, but it seems
as though the Linux telnet command doesn't play well with GameServ
(which Gary's using)

I wrote a basic python telnet script and after many attempts, it appears to be working...
It's experimental though and probably wont work with ZModem and things.. but you can play games :) It also allows you to press Ctrl-C which will hang up and exit the script returning you to the BBS.

Andrew
I have my inbound script looking for *.FHR files in the inbound and if they are found switches to the fhnr dir and runs maintenance.
That won't be a problem will it, if someone was playing the game at the time it run or anything?

Andrew;
Excellent Job! Although I don't run Linux, it would be great to
have the script you wrote on the BBS for download...
