so im posting another test message...

    i run these commands daily:
    ./mutil mailin
    ./mutil mailout
    ./fidopoll send

and... is it just a slow network - are there justn ot new messages? or
    do you sniff an issue?

thanks in advance ladies and gents!!

just a quick reply... so, it seems like when i posted THIS LAST message, and ran the 3 commands... it pulled in 300-something 'new messages'...

so, is it correct ot assume that it only pulls new messages when i have an outgoing mail? cause once i posted that last bit, it pulled new ones. just before, when running those 3 commands, it pulled nothing... but once i had an outoing message - BOOM.

so - these are all probably newbie questions... but if you have any data for
    my brain. thanks.

ultimately, i wanna apply to Avon and be a node member... but just tinkering
    so far.

    thanks folks!!

Avon just posted that he had made a change at the hub and the /999
address may not have been working but it is now.

Yes, if you have an event set to poll when there is new outgoing mail it
will be sent and you will also pick up new mail (if any) at that time.

There is one other issue with your /999 aka. If there is anyone else
testing they may poll before you do and pick up whatever is at the hub
waiting, so you won't see any of that.

You'll do better to get your own node then new mail will either be kept
for you to pick up, or crashed out to your node.. :)
