  • Not sure if I was able to post this last week or not...

    Was on a Synchronet board & saw how he was able to offer several types of
    looks like Renegade & such. Is there a way to do this with Mystic & if
    so...how would you do so?

    Have seen there are several files with names like WWIV/RG/TG/TAG...but
    haven't read anything about the use of them.

    Actually, there is.. It's done through Themes. You can make Mystic look like anything.. I currently have a Theme of Image BBS for the C64 on my board
    along with the default Mystic Theme and a ASCII theme. I literally have my Mystic look exactly like Image BBS from Login to logoff, only section I
    haven't finished is the Sub-Boards, those will get done one night when I am bored and have nothing to do..

    It's just menu files. Actually easier (for me at least) because I can do it from the menu editor. Last time I used Synch I had to do it by hand to really get it right.

    Am on the wiki site looking for information on setting up other themes...but the website is not complete with no examples of setting up different themes.

    No problem at all.. In fact there is a ASCII theme floating around on fsxNet boards done by I believe xqtr. Grab that and take a look at it. It is a good tutorial type of thing. Between editing the menu's and the data file you can make your BBS look like anything...

    HOT DOG!!! Have made a note about this. When I get some extra time in the
    next couple of weeks...am going to find it & start getting things setup the
