Got the Pi running Mystic. "Seems" to be able import/export mail like normal...but having sent out some test messages...don't think they are going anywhere.
Have copied the files from my Windows setup & changed all the
paths...but haven't gotten any responses.
Not sure what else I need to do to get it working. Any
suggestions...feel more than free to ask for anything or make any suggestions.
You need to determine where the mail is going, and also whether the sessions are being established. Make sure mail is being exported, and check logs. Have you tried a manual poll with fidopoll, top try and see what's going on?

Will take a look at the logs to see what's going on. Thought if I
changed the paths & copied the files which were working in Windows that
it would work.
Will get back to you on what I find.
At least 1 good thing about today is watching the last season of
American Horror Story. Am on the next to the last episode & it's not bad...but many of the actors who play in every other season aren't in
this one...so it seems like something's missing.
Thank you for getting back to me.

Hmm, I'd call that "out of the ordinary". Might pay to check your archiver setup. :)

Check that the .sa0 bundle (ZIP) isn't empty -- I think I had one of
these errors when I received some empty packets a short while ago. Removing the empty packets resolved the issue.

I think Vk3jed has hit it, it looks to me like an archiver issue. Is
the unzip you are using linux compatible or is it the dos version??

Will do.

If you like horror and the same cast doing different parts every year...quite a series.
Fortunately...our public broadcasting station is running "Victoria"
season 2 all day long...rather than their normal programming. VERY
HIGHLY recommend it if you get a chance. Reminds me that "Outlander"
will be back soon.

Will kick out a test message to see if this bit of stupid on my part
was what did me in.

You're welcome/ I'm sure you'll be passing mail in no time. :)

Once I do...will be doing a faq on what you need to load & exactly what
to look out for. Not having zip on the system or needing to put ./ in front of every executable program is something that will trip up a linux noob like me.
You should only need to add ./ to run executables which are inside the mystic directory. Things like zip and unzip install to a place in your path, like /usr/bin or /bin or something like that, and those should NOT have ./ added to them :)
On 12-26-19 09:42, Phoobar wrote to Vk3jed <=-
Originally...yes it was a problem with not having zip loaded on the system. Did an apt & got it...along with p7zip & lha. Add onto
that...not having ./ added to the config originally. Now...have those added to the system. Still same result.

Both are "chick" flicks. Victoria comes out from ITV in the UK & stars Jenna Coleman from Doctor Who...while Outlander is done by one of the producers of ST:TNG & Battlestar Galactica (new version).
The latter is written by a US author. The lady accidentally touches a
rock in a Celtic circle which sends her back to Scotland in the 1740's.

Nope...but they are both in the path to be called. Will check on
getting a binary of both tomorrow. Have to head back to the salt mines after 5 days off.
And are you sure you have the archiver definitions right? In Mystic, I remember there's some quirks. I'll check my configs...
Pack Cmd zip -qj9 %1 %2
Unpack Cmd unzip -oqqjC "%1" "%2" -d "%3"
OK, not a genre I normally watch, though not especially averse to them. Well, new BSG is not necessarily a recommendation, I found that series dull and couldn't get through it (lasted until early into season 2).

Well, then you definitely DON'T want ./ in front of the commands.

Exactly what is there. Even removed the ./ from in front of the

Agree with you about BSG. Haven't gotten thru it all...even after all these years.
On the other hand...anything about time travel I'm a sucker for...no matter how bad it is. Also goes back to my affinity for history. As I
tell co-workers who are Who fans...that blue police box ever came to my house...bye bye everyone...I ain't coming back. ;)

Did a 11 hr day at the store. LONG day...especially with the FT girl
who got there at 6 AM to 3 PM decided she got sick & left work as soon
as she saw the gleem off my skull. Like she has been doing quite a bit lately. Since I have more anatomy than my manager...she will get away
with it...since the manager has done this before to other males who
walked out after complaining about it. Got home last night...didn't
even turn on the TV...but worked on my media server...then went to bed.
Got them removed & going to try another message. Gotta get the file
areas setup today...since I have the time. May even try to set up the Mystic folder in the path to make my life easier & learn more.
You would think after playing around with Linux for 20+ years...I
wouldn't be such a noob.

Will be getting the file areas set up tomorrow after going out for brunch...getting a piece of German chocolate cake for my
birthday...along with some milk.
As I tell customers & co-workers at work...I was born at 6 AM & my body has never let me forget about it. Have always been a night person.
Lucky I don't have fangs which grew out. ;)

Once I found out where to make the change...just sudo'ed a text editor
& rebooted.
With all the trouble I've been having with the little things which have bit me...may just do a readme or something like it for noobs to cover
all their bases.
