  • One more A45 idea ... logging

    I forgot to add something I'd really like in Mystic. Log rollover. I know MIS will roll over the logs from mis.log to mis.1.log when it reaches around 1.25 MB (on my system). I'd like the ability to do this for all the logs. It'd be nice if it rolled over logs based on "daily/weekly/size" somewhere in the configuration editor, and keep XX number of these rolled logs. My nodeX.log gets pretty large and a bit cumbersome to trace events in.

    Thoughts?

    The log rolling is configurable based on number of days or size (so you can
    do weekly/monthly or size like you request) in places where its configurable now.

    The node logs specifically is planned I just don't want to enable it before A44 is released. I don't want to introduce too many things that could be problematic until we get a mostly stable A44 out. I would expect it in A45.

    Yeah, I figured, so I pinned it to A45 in the subject. You probably have a
    list a mile long already and if you're like me, no time to do it!
