• Prealpha update

I just updated the A46 prealphas again which seems to fix the telnet issue I was seeing in Linux.

I just updated the prealphas for A46.

This version has some record changes in it to the groups. It adds a signficantly longer group name (80 characters), a short group name (40 characters) along with MCI code for the short name, and an InfoFile reference that doesn't really do anything yet.

It also adds configurable log rolling for MIS.LOG and POLL.LOG

I'll make use of this immediately! Thanks g00r00 :)

Are these group names going to be auto-filled with something random if you already have existing message groups? Or are they going to stay blank until
you fill them in, in which the only time you should have an issue with it is
if you try to export to areas.bbs, *.na or whatever?

You can reply to my last message if you wish, but it seems I may soon answer
    my own question. ;)

    Excellent, thanks!

And I know this is a prealpha thing and you're still tweaking, but upgrade.txt may want to reflect that you need to run "upgrade" in your mystic directory
to update the data files to A46, as well as recompile your scripts.

The short group name? It will just be blank unless you set it to something.

I don't think it would relate to areas.bbs or anything.

I did add that, but I mistakenly added it AFTER I put the packages together lol. It will be in the next build.

Mystic and the other .exe files refusing to run because the version needs to
be upgraded will hopefully clue people in to running it for now.

    Hey g00r00,

This version has some record changes in it to the groups.

    Thanks!!

Another question: last selected item now returns to the position when returning. ==> It would be nice if this could be switched off (per menu or
    per item ??)

For example, when I select a file area/group en return to my menu, I want to hit return immediately to list the files in the selected area ....

Done. The GR menu command now has a /CURSOR option which will cause it to reset the cursor to the first item. This will be in the next build.
